🧮 When Math Dances with Music: A Jukebox Experience 🎵

How Fibonacci, rhythms, and Chrome Music Lab create a symphony of numbers!

🔢🎶 What if I told you that music is pure mathematics? From the steady 2-4 beat of rock anthems to the Fibonacci-based polyrhythms in Carnatic music, numbers have been the silent architects of melodies for centuries.

At Neptune Game Labs, we are always exploring learning through play—and what better way to merge math and creativity than through music? This project was an experiment in musical storytelling - bringing out the patterns and logic hidden in melodies.

🎼 The Experiment: Jukebox Recreated on Chrome Music Lab

Using Chrome Music Lab’s Song Maker, I reconstructed 15+ iconic songs, from We Will Rock You to Für Elise, exploring the mathematical harmony behind each composition.

🟡 Rock & Pop Rhythms: How We Will Rock You & Believer use simple math ratios to create unforgettable beats.
🟢 Carnatic Konnakol & Fibonacci Sequences: The mind-blowing connection between Indian classical music and geometric math.
🔵 Turkish March & Classical Math: The Mozart effect and the deep structure of mathematical scales.
đźź  Piano Roll Exploration: A sneak peek into Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart’s structured compositions, visualised in Chrome Music Lab’s Piano Roll.

🎛️ Chrome Music Lab: The Playground of Sound & Numbers

🔹 What is Chrome Music Lab? It’s an interactive music creation tool where you can experiment with beats, harmonies, and melodies—perfect for both kids and adults.
🔹 Piano Roll Magic: Originally used in self-playing pianos, piano rolls reveal how compositions are structured mathematically. Some highlights include:
✔️ J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier
✔️ Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca
✔️ Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5
✔️ Satie’s Gymnopédie No. 1

🚀 Learning Beyond the Classroom

At Neptune Game Labs, we believe in revolutionising education by integrating game-based learning and playful experiments that make learning memorable and engaging. This project was a small step toward that goal - showing how math can be heard, not just seen!
