🎨 Origami & 21st-Century Skills: Creating, Learning, and Thriving!

At our latest art-based learning camp, we embarked on a creative journey to explore 21st-century skills through the art of Origami! This time, our mission was to craft a Pen/Pencil Holder using just a sheet of paper, some basic tools, and a whole lot of imagination.

Why Origami? ✂️📐

Origami isn’t just about folding paper—it’s about building skills that matter in today’s world:

• Critical Thinking: Problem-solving through precise folds and structures.

• Creativity: Turning simple materials into functional art.

• Focus & Patience: Learning the importance of following steps carefully.

• Practical Application: Crafting something kids can proudly use every day.

What We Did 🎨

Using just A4 paper, a pencil, and a few creative extras like stickers or sketch pens, the kids:

1. Learned the basic folds to create their pen/pencil holder.

2. Decorated their pen holders to reflect their unique style.

3. Walked away with a functional and beautiful craft they can use daily.
