This week, we conducted a lively and interactive Doodling Session for our students during the Arts & Crafts class, and the results were truly inspiring! Here’s a detailed look at what we did and why doodling is such a powerful tool for learning.

Relevance: Why Doodling?

Doodling is more than just drawing - it’s a gateway to unlocking your child’s imagination. It promotes focus, creativity, and self-expression, while also laying the foundation for critical thinking and problem-solving skills. At its core, doodling is a fun, stress-free activity that fosters curiosity and innovation, two key components of 21st-century skills that prepare kids for future challenges.

In this session, we showed the students how even simple tools like paper and colours can be used to create amazing works of art. It’s not just about the final product, but about the journey of exploration and creativity!

What We Did

During the session, students used:

• Rectangular paper

• Colors – crayons, sketch pens, or paints

With these basic materials, they explored the magic of doodling, creating fun patterns, abstract art, and even little stories through their designs. We encouraged them to let their imaginations flow, emphasising that art is not about perfection but about self-expression and creativity.

The class was filled with laughter, focus, and bursts of creativity as students proudly shared their unique creations.
